What kind of event? You can eat large variety of pot food which is usualy eaten in Yamagata. The team which can sell 100 bowls of food first, wins this contest. And they get the prize "Nabe Syougun" (the king of pot food). And there is a special prize "Nabe no Tsubone" which visitors selects. Every team prepares about 500 cup of food. They sell it over 300 yen.

How large scale? Each groups prepare over 500 bowls of pot food. They sell about 300 yen per a bowl. They give us not only pot foods but also local Japanese "Sake" which is a kind of alcohol made from rice. What attraction? They entertain us with many shows from the special stage there. At 3rd festival, they drew lots using numbers at the end of this event and performed a show by the kindergarteners in Tendo.

We have "the first market" on this day. They open many shops around there.
