Dec. 20 (Sun.) Montedio Yamagata

There is a professional football team in Yamagata Prefecture, "Montedio Yamagata". They join one of professional games, the Emperor' Cup in Japan. They could not take part in the quaterfinal unlucky. They use the prefectural sports park in Tendo as a home ground. They took 3rd place at the JFL, next to J reague, this year.

Today they had a game with one of J league team "Nagoya Grandpas" and lost to them by 2 to 3.

Dec. 19 (Sat.) Now ski season, but ...

They had a opening ceremony of ski resort in Tendo. But there is no snow this year! Usually we don't have enough snow to ski at the mountain... The global warming makes snow little ?

Dec. 18 (Fri.) New design "Tsubasa"

Yamagata prefectural goverment they hope to change a design of the Super Express "Tsubasa" because of its reaching to north area in Yamagata Prefecture. The JR (Japan Railway company) they announce that they will introduce new type train same as the Super Express "Komachi".

Current train is painted silver gray and it runs 240Km/h. But new type runs 270Km/h and lighter than current type, so the cost becomes less than now. It sounds good.

The Super Express "Tsubasa", its color will be changed soon. The trademark of the Super Express "Tsubasa", it is a color of silver gray. But prefectural goverment hope to change its color and body to promote.

They hope to paint bright colors suggested Yamagata. But I love silver gray of current "Tsubasa". Its color suggests me that it is true prototype...

Dec. 16 (Wed.) Party for Kotonowaka

There is one of Japanese smou wrestler "Kotonowaka" in Yamagata Prefecture. And they have a party for his last result at the Takinoyu Hotel in Tendo spa. He had good results at the last 3 matchs and got one title. So many people say that he can upper grade smou wrestler.

At the party, his boss "Sadogatake Oyakata" also came and took pictures with many guests.
