News in Tendo(1st week in Nov, 1998)

Nov. 7 (Sat.) 4 ranes highway (the highest 15.2C /the lowest 3.3C /weather - cloudy)

They start to built new ranes of Yamagata Highway from Sasaya Interchange (IC) to Sekizawa IC, 5.8 kirometers.
They have a plan to finish in about 5 years.
After that we can drive on the 4 ranes highway from Yamagata to Tohoku highway in Miyagi Prefecture next to Yamagata Prefecture.

We have a big traffic jam every years in the season of cherry, from June to July. It will be helpful to decrease traffic jam.

Nov. 6 (Fri.) the winter has come (the highest 13.4C /the lowest 4.2C /weather - fine)

We had snow at the Mt.Zao located in the southeast from Tendo city. Mt.Zao is a symbol of Yamagata Prefecture and there is a ski resort and Onsen (spa). It snowed 10 days later than avarage year, 22 days later than last year. It was -4.5C at the top of mountain in the daytime, very cold day.

Nov. 5 (Thu.) New airline to Toyama Prefecture (the highest 12.8C /the lowest 7.9C /weather - fine)

Yamagata prefectural goverment, they have reserched a new airline to Toyama Prefecture as the commutable airline.
The commutable airline, it is meaned to fly a small jet under 60 guests regulary and from now they fly to small islands in Japan as the commutable airline. We have a commutable airline to Hakodate, Hokkaido now.

The jet to Tokyo has decreased and stopped to Fukuoka Prefecture.
Yamagata prefectural goverment have a plan of commutable airline to use the Yamagata Airport more frequently.

Nov. 3 (Tue.) (the highest 15.7C /the lowest 11.0C /weather - cloudy)

Nov. 1(Sun.) (the highest 19.8C /the lowest 10.9C /weather - cloudy)
