They had the election for the members of the House of Councillors.

They broadcasted the rate of vote in Tendo City on TV.

Men - 62.35% (65.43% Average in Yamagata Prefecture)

Women - 60.14% (63.43% Average in Yamagata Prefecture)

Total - 61.20% (64.38% Average in Yamagata Prefecture)

(Last time - 57.03%)

The rate both men and women was lower than the average in Yamagata Prefecture.

Does it mean that Tendo is becoming larger city ?

Or Didn't they have an interest for national election ?

July 10 (Fri.) Activities at local areas

Tendo city office, they started the system to animate the activities at local areas.

They gathered many ideas about lectures in city office and decided 68 lectures in 5 categories. 5 categories mean the charter of Tendo City, "Good place to live", "Warmheated place", "Beautiful place", "Good place to work" and "Clean place". They will send professionals if people wants to have a lecture.

July 7 (Tue.) Gift for the city libraryore

The circle "Otentousama" presented their works to the city library.

They are circles to make picture books made of cloth.

This time they presented some picture books, handy ball, some traditional goods, etc.

The city library they display their prestnts and use their events.

July 6 (Mon.) More drink milk !

They had a seminar about milk at the building "Palte", next to the Tendo Station. Many people took part in the event who was intrested in the quality of food from everywhere in Yamagata Prefecture. At the seminar, Ms.Takako HIROTA, who is the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Osaka, talked about Calcium.
