The other day, they had a meeting about the City hall in Tendo.
They will have a plan to perfome all traditional entertainments on next February 14.
It is called "Furusato Geinou Sanpo".

In 4 years, we have a new highway.
It runs from Kaminoyama city to Higashine city, through Yamagata city and Tendo city.
With that highway, it is very convenient to go Yamagata Airport in Higashine city for people in south area of Yamagata Prefecure.

They published the 50th magazine by citizen "Hiroba".
Many citizen contribute to that magazine and edit by citizen.
They sell it at some bookstores in Tendo and City office in Tendo.

There are three mountains in the central Tendo, Mt.Maizuru, Mt.Hachiman and Mt.Koshiou.
On September 23, they have a plan to meet about those mountains at the Welfare center in Tendo.
At that meeting, many specialists will come.

Tendo Menrui Shokudou Kumiai (Restaurant of Japanese noodle association in Tendo), they will start new promotion of SOBA (Japanese noodle) from June 1.
In the 16th century, Tendo had a unique technique to make SOBA and presented to Shogun (Master of Samurais) in Edo.
They show many flags and provide new SOBA like one in the 16th century.

At Terazu area which there is a public hot spa "Yupia", they excavated earthen pipes.
Long time ago, they were worried of little water and had many many troubles.
So they had a project to lay water pipes from Terazu pond.
They have a plan to built a histrical museum around the Terazu pond.
